OUR FOUNDER
The Person Behind the Business
Mark Tolson founded DSFLA, Inc. in 2001 as a development services company focused on land development and construction. After the Great Recession of 2009, the business shifted toward general contracting and renovations and has operated that way ever since.
Mark's background made the transition a natural one. With a Structural and Civil Engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh and experience as a partner on the development teams behind communities like The Strand Golf and Country Club, Olde Cypress, and Grandezza, he brought a level of technical depth that most contractors simply don't have.
